Giovanni C. Morant
Music Teacher
 Giovanni C. Morant comes from a family with a
dynamic musician father and mother. At an early
age he was exposed to the power that music has
to affect the lives of people. In his own
family, all six of his siblings also play, sing
and or dance in some professional capacity. Mr.
Morant was the beneficiary of several solid
music and arts programs during his own primary
and secondary education. He notes.
Mr. Morant holds a BA from Boston University
and this past summer he attended in the Taste of
Kodaly Course at the Kodaly Music Institute at
New England Conservatory in Boston.
If you don’t find him performing with his
GB (wedding) band on the weekends, you might run
across Mr. Morant at any park with his two
little girls. Ever the proponent of all things
marching band he is glued to his local PBS
station every early August to watch the Drum
Corps International world championships.
