Financial Aid
 The
Eliot Montessori School has a small scholarship endowment that is allocated according to need to help deserving students afford tuition at our school.
Applying for a Scholarship
In order to apply for a scholarship, parents should complete a Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) and mail it to the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) in Princeton, NJ.
To be considered for financial aid for the 2007-2008 school year your application must be postmarked by February 9, 2007.
To complete the PFS use actual dollar figures from your 2006 IRS 1040. If your taxes are not yet completed, enter your closest approximation from W-2’s and 1099’s.
At the same time, mail a photocopy of the completed PFS to my attention at Eliot along with a copy of your completed 2006 IRS 1040, including all supporting schedules.
A Business/Farm Statement is required from families who own their own business or farm. A PFS must also be completed by non-custodial parents. If either of these situations applies to your family, please complete the appropriate forms and send them directly to Eliot along with your 2006 IRS Form 1040 and all attached schedules by February 19, 2007. Do not send these forms to Princeton, NJ.

aid and contract in writing. |
Although we ask that you sign your enrollment contract and submit the required deposit at the beginning of March we understand that financial aid is an important factor when considering enrollment. Financial aid applicants are granted a special waiver. They may notify the school in writing of a withdrawal decision due to financial reasons. The Financial Aid Committee must also concur that the reason for withdrawal is financial. Under these circumstances the family can rescind the original enrollment contract and your deposit will be returned.
